The watercolor effect applies a heavy multi-pass Gaussian blur to simulate colour bleed and diffusion — the signature quality of watercolor washes. Vibrancy adjusts colour saturation; watercolor pigments are slightly desaturated compared to photography, so the default is intentionally gentle. Paper grain adds procedural noise texture simulating rough watercolor paper.
