Free Online Photo Booth Strip Maker

MakeMySketch's Photomaton creates a classic photo booth film strip entirely in your browser. Take 4 shots with your camera (with a 3-second countdown), or upload your own photos. Choose from a range of frame backgrounds — solid colours, gradients, patterns — then add a custom title and date. Download the result as a high-resolution PNG film strip.

All processing is local. Your photos never leave your device. No account, no watermark, no subscription.

Perfect For

Birthdays, hen and stag dos, weddings, school events, parties and festivals. Print the strip for a physical memento, share it on social media, or use it as a WhatsApp sticker. The film strip format is sized for printing on standard photo paper.

Combine with MakeMySketch's photo filters to add a vintage look before the shoot, or use the pencil sketch effect on individual frames for an artistic strip.

Questions
FAQ
How does the camera countdown work?+
Click "Start Camera" to access your webcam, then "Take Shot" to begin a 3-second countdown. After each shot the strip updates live. You can retake any shot by clicking the frame. 4 shots complete the strip automatically.
Can I upload my own photos instead?+
Yes — click "Upload photos" to select up to 4 images from your device. They'll fill the strip slots in order. You can mix camera shots and uploaded photos.
What backgrounds are available?+
Solid colours (white, cream, black, pastels), gradients (sunset, night, forest) and patterns (dots, lines, noise). All backgrounds are applied to each frame uniformly for a cohesive strip look.
What size is the downloaded strip?+
The output is a high-resolution PNG — each frame is 600×450px, so the full 4-shot strip is approximately 690×2200px, ideal for printing at photo strip size or sharing on social media.
Are my photos uploaded to any server?+
Never. Everything runs locally in your browser using the Canvas API and WebRTC. No photos are transmitted, stored or shared.
